I decided to make a page of my favorite Bob Marley quotes, his music has had a big influence on my life, even though he died before I was even born. If you have ever heard his music, you know how powerful his lyrics, and voice can be. He spoke many wise words in his time, most were immortalized in his music, and others in books and from person to person, I hope I can help spread some of his wise words around to other people that might not have heard them. There are also a few videos at the bottom of the page if you want to check them out.
A bit about Bob Marley:
Bob Marley was born on february 6th, 1945 – He was a Jamaican musician, song writer, and Rastafarian. In 1964 he became the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for The Wailers, 10 years later in 1974 they became known as Bob Marley & The Wailers. Bob Marley died on May 11th 1981 from cancer. His amazing reggae music and message of love have spread all around the world, and nearly 30 years after his death he remains one of the most popular and influentual musicians. Right off the back- THANKS! all these quotes are so useful in many ways. Which I am doing so many presentations on Bob in more than one class and I use a lot of his quotes and lyrics to help my presentation be more effective and real…I LOVE BOB! every day i put a different bob marley quote on my dry erase board in my room. it reminds me how wise marley truly was, and how just listening to his voice can help me through a hard time. thanks for the inspiration!

I love Bob Marley. His music, his quotes, his way of living ( besides smoking ). He is a true hero to everyone. His music WILL go on forever, his music will never die. I think a few people know what Bob means by he wants to see everyone live together peacefully, and try. But it’s the people who don’t realize those things that pull us back.
